Disney exec Meredith Roberts hints at potential return

Gravity Falls, the quirky paranormal animated adventure show that ended its two-season run on Disney Channel eight years ago, could be resurrected. Meredith Roberts, executive vice president of television animation and Disney Branded Television, hinted at a potential return during a recent interview.

Roberts' comments came in response to a question about whether Disney was considering bringing back any of its classic animated shows. "There's always a possibility," she said. "We're always looking at what our fans are interested in, and Gravity Falls is definitely one of those shows that people have been asking about."

Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch has also expressed interest in returning to the show. In a recent interview, he said that he would "love to do more Gravity Falls" and that he has "some ideas" for how to continue the story.

Whether or not Gravity Falls actually returns remains to be seen, but the fact that Disney and Hirsch are both open to the idea is sure to excite fans of the show.
